I'm proud to breed good tempered, good looking , typey Bedlington
Terriers. Of primary importance to me is that my puppies go to the best,
loving homes where they will bring joy and companionship for many, many
years. Show careers are just a small part of their lives, so their forever
homes are much more important. Below are some of the lovely, sweet Ashcroft
Bedlingtons who have gone to live with their new owners.

Ashcroft Sangeo Savanna - 'SAVANNA' lives in Pennsylvania with Karen, Al, and
her companion Lizzy.

"She is one of the most loving dogs
and she lives to please you. Her favorite position is in your lap looking
into your eyes."

Ashcroft Sangeo Sahara - 'SAMSON' lives with Lisa & Tim in Connecticut

"There is one street on our route when I run with Sam, and there is a stone
ledge, about three feet high, that is covered with grass, and goes into a
hill. I go along the sidewalk, and he jumps up on the ledge. He has to do
this 2 or 3 times, as the trees come down and prevent him from continuing.
At first, I thought it must look so funny....me running on the sidewalk and
the leash going up to this dog on the ledge........but now it is just what
we do." - Lisa

Ashcroft Sangeo Sedona - 'BOO' lives with Lorraine, Harold, Crissy and
Lambchop in Connecticut. Boo has 5 AKC show points, but he likes the good
life in Connecticut better than the show ring any day.

"Boo is the most wonderful wonderful Baby, we all absolutely love him so
much!! And he is in Heaven. He sleeps in bed with me and Lammy during the
week and when my Husband comes home on Friday nite, Boo is the happiest
little boy. He is in love with his Daddy. Harold takes them everywhere he
goes. Errand running on Saturday morning is Boo's favorite part of the week.
They go to the cleaners, the bank, Walmart and of course to Dunkin Donuts,
where the Babies get free munchkins every time because they are so cute!!"-
Lorraine

Ashcroft Sangeo Seneca - 'CASEY' lives with Donna and Lee in New York. Recently, she was joined by half brother Ashcroft Saltimbanco, 'COLE'.

Casey...
Cole....
"I have been wanting to let you
know how special our little boy is to us. Cole is so precious I can't even
tell you how great he is. He makes me laugh just watching him walk. He is
so full of himself and sweet. He walks with attitude. Casey really likes
him too. They play really well together.... You do a great job breeding
awesome dogs, keep up the good work..." - Casey and Coles Mom Donna
Just wanted to thank you again, for bring Cole into our family. Donna
and I have been married 42 years, during that time we have had 6 dogs. Our
first dog was a poodle and she has been the measuring stick used to judge
the rest of the dogs, obedience, loyalty, friendly, etc.. Even with Casey
included, none of them have been able to fully meet the standards. Guess
what, Cole has met those standards, if not exceeded them. He is, with out
a doubt, a joy, we can not call him a dog, he is just a small, furry
person on 4 legs. Thank you again
Lee

'BANDIT', Ashcroft Dralion, lives in New Jersey with Arthur, Robin, Ian and
Justin.

"All four of us just love him so much and he is very lovable and loves to
play."
I thought I adored my dog growing up more than anyone
could, but after my immediate family, I cannot believe how much I love
Bandit. Every morning he crawls into my lap and cuddles and I hold him
tight, realizing how special he is and how lucky we are to have him.
Robin

'HAMLET', Ashcroft Quidam RA, lives with Tisha, Terri and Ophelia in Pennsylvania.
His owners work with him in agility and
obedience - he has his Rally Advanced title now, earning 2nd place and a score
of 93 on his final leg. Hamlet is also learning to play Flyball!

"We are on week
5 of puppy class- we have to brag about his progress. The teacher finally
had to stop class and admit that "she didn't want the rest of the class to
get discouraged that their puppies couldn't do what Hamlet can - that he is
a truly exceptional puppy." Well we proud mommies already knew this - but it
was sure exciting to hear it aloud!" -Tisha

'RILEY',
Ashcroft Alegria At Glenmoor lives in Maryland with Ginger, Bob and Diva.

"On Friday Riley
visited Miriam's office enroute to Petsmart, and she was cuddled by multiple
people. Our view that she is one cute puppy was reinforced. On Sunday a
friend from my office (who is a cat person) stopped by to drop something
off, and Riley happily was handed off to him for cuddling. After a time she
wanted to move and so she ran around and then ended up in my lap." - Ginger

'GINGER', Ashcroft Luck Be A Lady lives with Rick, Karen & Cooper in
Pennsylvania

Just
wanted to send you some photos of our Bedlies. The two are getting along
wonderfully. They are absolutely precious together and we enjoy them so
much! Ginger looks more like a stuffed Steiff Bear than a dog. She is
soooo cute; I don’t want to cut off her last remnants of reddish fur on the
top knot. I will be giving in before Christmas though. She is almost
house trained and definitely knows to go outside but sometimes we don’t get
her out the door in time. Her baby teeth have all fallen out and new ones
are growing in rapidly (I find little drops of blood on Cooper’s ears
sometimes). At last vet visit she was a whopping 10.5 lbs and is closing in
on Cooper. She will be larger than him. Poor Cooper. Ginger is famous for
backing him into the fireplace (we don’t use it) and chasing him all over
the house. Also, we watched the famous dog show (on TV) on Thanksgiving and
saw the Earth Dog Bedlington Champion in competition; I hope one of yours is
up there some day. Ginger would have made one heck of a show dog. Hope all
is well with you, your mom and the Bedlies; particularly Sunny and Brady!

Of course, she has completely taken over
our lives and definitely owns us - but behaves well - is learning to
listen (most of the time) and has very few "accidents" - goes to the door
when she wants to go "out" but has not learned to bark yet....she just
looks at you ! Has barked only a few times - surely not "yappy", loves to
watch TV - and goes crazy when the doorbell rings because it's someone
coming to visit HER. She learns something new everyday and is growing like
crazy Loves her yard - and like a true Bedlington, runs like the wind.
We took her to our son's for turkey dinner
today and she met their 14 year old Dobie (we had her sister) - she had
not really been around a dog that big - but very little scares her - she
is full of adventure and curiosity. Bob has trimmed her twice and is doing
pretty well - she is getting lighter....mostly gray now - about the same
color as Roxie in her pictures - but we think she will get even lighter.
She went for her last vet check up this week and had her rabies, etc - and
was 16.1 pounds. She is a healthy little girl.
Do we love her ???? I am sure you know we
do (she knows it too) It's like having a new child (who is already 2
years old !) She is such a great companion for us......"Miss
Personality". Will keep posted as to our little girl's progress
regards to your Mom and sister
Judy, Bob and Miss Peg (AKA Miss Peggy)
Peg sends birthday wishes
to her brothers and sisters.
Here
she is on the big day. She had a party hat to match her dress - but it
didn't stay on her head.... Here she is doing what she does
best...running and playing in the yard

'Harpo', Ashcroft Luck of the Harp lives with Cherie, Laura and Maude on Cape
Cod in Massachusetts.
Harpo is looking quite good, though not that
bedlingtonish as his last haircut they cut too much of his head, but still
VERY cute. Practically house broken. I still haven't left him and Maude home
alone yet as I'm more worried about him eating wires and getting into things
he shouldn't.

'Thurman', Ashcroft Captain's Luck, lives with Matt & Stephanie in Chicago.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving! I think Thurman
has gotten a little better. We have been trying to get him more activity as
you suggested. Now that he has all his shots, we have been taking him to the
park. He loves to chase pigeons and run around with other dogs on the
tennis court. He even made friends with a Russian Wolfhound named Fletch
the other day.
He loves the snow and chasing snowballs we roll on the ground for him. We
took him to my parents house in Indiana for the holiday. He enjoyed all the
space and grandpa and grandma loved having him there.
He has 3 more puppy classes left and I think they are helping. He has
learned come, sit, down and stay. He was the star of the class when it came
to running through the tunnels. I think it's been about 3 weeks since he
had an accident in the house. He has learned to sit by the front door when
he needs to go out.
I am going to try and attach some of our favorite pictures of our little
boy.

I thought I would share some pictures of Thurman on his first trip to the
dog
beach on Lake Michigan. As you can see, he loved it!
I can't believe he is going to be 1 already next month. He gets sweeter and
sweeter each day.
He made friends with another Bedlington, Beckham, at the dog park. They
look
very cute at their play dates (Thurman with his tan coat and Beckham with a
blue
coat).
Hope all is well in PA. The new puppies are so adorable.

'BASIL', Ashcroft Tarzan, is living with Teresa, Mike, Hannah and Noah in
Ohio...

'JET', Ashcroft's West Side Story, is living in Pennsylvania with Stephanie,
Todd, Alexa and Mackenzie.

Jet continues to entertain and amaze us - he is a real sweetheart. We
just finished "puppy school" - his instructor said Jet was very smart - she
would often use him to demonstrate commands! -Stephanie

'JACKSON', Ashcroft Magical Jackson, is living in Connecticut with Steve,
Susan, Sarah and Grace. He has already found the couch, and his very own
deck chair!

'ETCETERA', Ashcroft Hocus Pocus is living with Anita in Pennsylvania,
and learning to be a model as evidenced by his early portraits taken by
Barbara Augello, professional photographer!
ta da! - Anita

Ashcroft Wedgewood Willow, 'ZOE', lives in CT with Alicia, Lauren, Ray and Joan.

New puppy is
tremendous.....she did fine in the car ride home and played in the
lawn....met the neighbors...grandma and grandpa drove down to see her and
took a nap in grandma's arms......She met the lab puppy next door. Even
though the lab is more than two times her size...we held the lab on a leash
and she ran circles around the lab....when the lab pushed her over she
nipped at it and after that they were fine. Puppy went to sleep at 10:30
in her crate and up at 4:30 this morning. She's eating and
eliminating.....She is constantly bounding around the house checking
everything out. She's adorable and the kids (and the wife) haven't stopped
smiling.- Ray
Just a quick note.....she
is doing great. has met everyone on the street including their dogs. Is
almost house broken. She will go to the front door when she wants to go
out. (which is still very frequently) Only one accident in the house in
the last four days and that was our fault. She gave us plenty of notice we
were just to slow to respond. We went to the store and bought her $80 worth
the dog toys which she loves... which seems to stop her urge to chew on
us. On the leash she seems to walk well with only a little tugging and
pulling....she sits on command (for a treat) and will finally allow us to
brush her with out fussing too much. She has grown a lot. Will send
you an updated photo after her next haircut.-Ray

Ashcroft Waterford Georgia, aka "GEORGIA' lives in Rhode Island with Kate
and Russ.

... she did a great job on the way
home, ... She was a very active girl yesterday since we stopped in CT to see
Russ' parents and then once we got home she met "the neighborhood" and today
has my mom. She and Holly seem fine...Holly is wondering "what the heck IS
that?" and sniffed from a few feet away, while Georgia seems to want to
follow her and "thought" about trying Holly's food today.
she is doing great, Holly is adjusting
well and Georgia has made fast friends with my mom's sheepdog lola and her
neighbor's 8 month old beagle Maggie. She comes on strong barking and
jumping at lola and lola is a gentle, smart girl who knows Georgia is a
little tyke with big ideas and she needs to play the "gentle giant" role
with her new friend. It's quite amusing to watch the two of them. ....she
chews frozen face cloths in my lap before falling back to sleep after a walk
and playing and a meal.....so that we "wind down" and she actually indicates
to us that she has pooped and peed it all out and is tired when she starts
to fall asleep in our laps and forgets about chewing. she is love.....thank
you. =)
talk to you soon.
Kate, Russ, Holly and Georgia

Ashcroft Royal Albert aka 'JORDIE' lives with Lynne and Paul in Rhode
Island. Lynne's father had a Bedlington when she was a child, and they
brought a wonderful old pedigree and some super photos to share with us.

just thought I would send a quick message
to let you know how well Jordie is
progressing. He seems to have a healthy appetite and eats his food well.
He is a "neat" eater, which is a plus. He is visibly gaining both size and
weight. He seems to take well to the grooming which we do at home, but has
not gone to the professional groomer yet. His first bath was a riot. Even
though he doesn't quite get through the night without waking and barking, he
is markedly improved, and each day gets a little better in that regard. His
house training could not be better, and he actually barked at the door
yesterday to be let out in the back yard. The visit to the vet went well
and they were very impressed with the documentation which you had provided.
They wished that other breeders were as thorough as you are. We could not
be happier with him. His socialization goes well, and he is taking short
walks in the neighborhood every day. We are keeping him away from other
dogs because we are not sure of his immunities until all the shots have been
given. Once I figure out how to hook the digital camera up to the computer
we will send some pic's. Thanking you every day !!
Paul & Lynne
I just wanted to give you an update on Jordie,
along with some pictures, so that you know how well he is doing. He has turned
out to be everything we had hoped for. He is healthy, smart, inquisitive and for
the most part, obedient. I don't know if it is a trait particular to the breed,
but he seems to be very friendly to all people and other dogs. He has filled a
big hole in our house with the passing of our past dogs and he is very much
loved. Thank you so much. -Paul Berrigan

Ashcroft Minton Willow aka 'GRACIE' lives in New York with Sally, Sal and her new buddy
Tucker. She's keeping him tuckered out and giving kisses to her mom and dad.

As far as our wee one, she is known as "
Your Grace"! She does no wrong in her father's eyes! As far as Tucker, he
loves her. They romp from morning to night. He is so good with her - lets
her take things right out of his mouth. A really good-natured little guy.
Gracie has gained three pounds. Is that about right for her? She has
graduated to just dry puppy food and seems to do real well with it.
we all seem to have settled in very well.
Sally

Ashcroft Andromeda -
'ZEPHA' lives in NJ with the
Zweig family.
I wanted to tell you how
delighted we are that Zepha has become part of our family. You can’t imagine
how the boys rush home to play with her and even my husband who just met her
yesterday is just smitten with her. The biggest surprise is my 15 year old son
who has already taken her hiking through the park (against my motherly advice)
and keeps her with him no matter what he is doing (he even has her sitting on
his lap when he is typing on the computer doing homework, or even drumming on a
pad yesterday).
Here is our holiday photo with
Ben, Aaron and Zepha! She is a wonderful puppy; intelligent, playful, loving,
and quite mischievous! She is already a wonderful part of our family! Thanks
again for all your care in raising her. Yours, Meryl

Ashcroft Aldebaran Voyager - 'DARBY' lives with Coleen, Michael and Max in PA
Darby is adjusting wonderfully to life in the
McCusker home. He had a wonderful Christmas and charmed my brothers and sisters
and their kids. He loves the outdoors despite the rain and the mud and is
growing like crazy-Coleen

'JACQUELINE' lives with Carolee and Charles in CT
All is well here. Puppy went to the Vets today
and all fine. She will go back on Jan. 10th and get her rabies shots. She is a
bundle of joy. Thank you and Penny for everything. -Chas
P.S.
Thank Jackson also

'JACKSON' lives with Steve, Nanette, David and Kate in CT
Everyone who sees Jackson loves him and wants to hold him and in some cases even
take him home. He stars on our family Christmas card with the kids, I will have
Nannette send you the picture.- Steve
